STRUCTURE AND GOVERNANCE
eurohealthconnect is an independent foundation under Dutch law with a clear mission: to strengthen cross-border cooperation in healthcare. The foundation originated from the Euregional Service Centre for Healthcare (ESG), established in 1999, and operates from a central location in the EUREGIO — the heart of the Dutch-German border region.
The organisation consists of an Executive Committee, a Supervisory Board and a Council of Participants. The Supervisory Board supervises the management, provides strategic advice and, above all, acts as a think tank for innovative healthcare projects in the border region. Its members are committed Europeans from government agencies, healthcare providers and institutes, with a strong network at the Euregional, national and European levels. The Council of Participants consists of experienced experts from the Dutch and German healthcare sectors. They actively advise eurohealthconnect on current issues and contribute ideas on the content and direction of current and future projects.
